Summer Shade

This is more of a study than a finished piece. I was intrigued by the dark shadows of this tree and wanted to see how dark I could go in the branches and bring depth to the tree. Since the focus is on the tree, I thought I would keep it there by cropping the barn. The image size is 5.5" x 7.5". I used 4B, 2B and F lead hardness.
